My Spiritual Twin Brother, is Chinese from Thailand

My Blood Brother, is Cherokee (Native American Indian)

My Adopted Brothers are both Cuban and Argentine

My Co-pilot Brother, Riding Shotgun as We drive,

Hails proudly from The Sunny Isle of Puerto Rico




I stand Godfather to My Beautiful God-Daughter from Bhutan

The tiny but precious Kingdom at the foot of the Himalayas

My Extended Family Circle, grows Strong and Many,

In The Pearl of Asia ~ The Philippines




My Mistress and True Love, leaves footprints in Time

From Shaolin Temple Monastery, Hunan, China

My Honored Elder Uncle, is from Vietnam

My Lasting Memories of ...
Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, China and Malaysia

One May Not Choose One’s Birth-Right

Had Fate dictated and decided differently

I might have been Born on other Distant Shores

Born of Parents ~ in Africa, Asia, Europe or Latin America

Raised dutifully in another Culture and Custom

Raised Buddhist, Roman Catholic, Hebrew, Hindu or Islamic

Spoke Aramaic, Italian, Portuguese, Swahili, Spanish or Cantonese

Written in Hieroglyph, Cuneiform, Sanskrit, and Kanji



Would I See The World With Different Eyes?

Where Would My Allegiances Lie?

Would I Ever Think to Look at Other Perspectives?

Would I have the Depth of Understanding,

To Try and See The World
with My Distant Brothers or Sister’s Eyes?




Would I Be Called to Answer A Duty Clear and Real,

And Fight in Wars, Against Those from Other Shores

Simply Because of The Color of My Skin?




The Rulers of Historic Europe 
~ Kings, Queens, Dukes and Lords

Were mostly All Related ~ Cousins, Nephews ~ so I’m Told

They Sent Many To Die in Battle,

While They Sat Safely on Their Thrones at Home




How Many Did They Send to Die

How Much Innocent Blood Upon Their Hands

Creating Widows in Their Wake,

So Many Children without Fathers

So Many Wives to Know Endless Heartache




They Had Their Petty Differences

They Sent Their Armies, Thus to War

To Fight for Land and Riches

And Seemed Always to Oppress and Exploit the Poor!




They Sought to Extend The Boundaries of Their Kingdoms

May The Sun Never Set
on the Other People’s Land they Control

They Sought to Impose Their Religion

In The Name of GOD, They Claimed to Serve




And Yet They Conveniently overlooked the Commandment

“Thou Shall NOT Kill”




They Sailed to Distant Continents

To Escape Religious Persecution

They Sailed To Be FREE and Raise Family

And Enjoy the Fruits of Life, GOD has Given




Pilgrim, Colonist and Conquistador ~

Arrived in Ships from Distant Shore




And History Records –

Genocide and Wanton Slaughter

Of The Peoples that They Found

Gifts of Smallpox laden Blankets

Rotten Meat and Broken Treaties

Sights Any Merciful God Might Abhor!




And Then They Sailed Their Slave Ships

Landing on Distant African Shore

The Plight of 16 Million Tortured Souls

“The Middle Passage” as it is Called




The Flight to Escape Tyranny and Persecution

The Flight for Freedom in Another Land

The Lesson Soon Forgotten

So As To EnSlave Another Man!




A Revolution to Dispose A King

King George, Will Oppress and Exploit Us, No More!

A Constitution Written

Of Lofty High Ideals

But Until, Each and Every One

Shares in The Promised Rights and Fruit

From Sea to Shinning Sea

And Everyone Shares in the Freedom and Opportunity

This Story Won’t Be Finished, Over or Done.



You May Mistake My Words for Bitterness

Ask, “Why Do All Of Things I Write?”

But I Assure You, “That Cannot Be”

For In My Blood Runs, RED, BLACK and WHITE!




I’m Simply A Student Who has Studied History,

“OurStory”, Might Be Better Said

Read All The Lessons Recorded in Black and White

And Seek the Wisdom and Benefit of All That’s Been Said.




You See … I’m Part and Parcel

Of All That is Above

A Native Son, Of Many Lands

And Yet My Heart is Filled With LOVE!




I’ve Learned to SEE with My Brother’s Eyes

Feel With My Sister’s Heart

Remember The Innocence of A Child’s Vision

And Raise My Voice to Question, “An Observed Injustice”

Call Attention, Right From The Start!

We MUST Be Wise to Consider

Think Of How They Might Affect

Our Children’s Children, Children

Now this was and is so very deep and speak in depth the truth i am a little of both. My spiritual side belongs to God the creater of Heaven and Earth. My other side is through the blessing which he gave when he made and created me my mother is half French and Blackfoot Cherokee Indian and my Dad is Blackfoot and Cherokee Indian. But i am glad that one can get intouch with their roots and search out all things but know who they really and truly are. Great blog post and thank you for sharing i like it all so very much indeed. =)

Here again, I find strength whenever i read this post... and I will keep coming back. Cuz i believed in every words writen here but some people can be so cruel just like that at times...

But as long as we still hold on the truth of WHO WE ARE and what we are capable of doing to make a DIFFERENCE in other's lives then we should not stop the objective; and that is...TO LOVE, NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Good Morn Prince, I my self am a Very Proud American Mutt and always make sure I am logged in that way. I can not stand people whom think they are One higher BREED or CREED yuck! I would love to reveal the DNA in a lot of these arrogant and superior beings lol I think some would have to kill their self when they know what they really ARE made of Yes? I think it a funny thought lol
